Policy Xpress is an electronic Product Disclosure Statement (PDS*) delivery system designed specifically for Insurance Brokers to:

  • Take the guess work out of managing PDS delivery to clients,
  • Ensure compliance with legislative obligations
  • Deliver administration cost savings
  • Enable access to a PDF of every PDS available to the broking market
  • Provide an industry wide PDS Version reference number
  • Deliver significant environmental benefits

Based on our extensive research none of the existing broking software systems currently comprehensively address or support the insurance broker in delivering the correct PDS document to the client at either the new business or renewal cycles.    

Policy Xpress has been 3 years in the making, initially developed as a standalone system to help the broker manage, control and record the myriad of PDS that are constantly being issued and altered by Insurers.   This project has evolved from an Excel Spreadsheet to an online searchable internet database of over 1,500 PDS Documents.

Our current industry estimates are that there are approximately 2,500 PDS documents in the marketplace with up to 40% of these changing each year, that's 4 changes in PDS documents for every working day of the week.

Policy Xpress will deliver significant cost savings whilst allowing the Insurance Industry to demonstrate a commitment to environmental sustainability and begin to catch up to the e-delivery services currently offered in many other industries.

Policy Xpress   has gained overwhelming in principle support from the Steadfast members at their recent conference.

*The term PDS includes all General Insurance Product Disclosure Statements required for Retail Clients under the Corporations Act as well as all other General Insurance Policy Wordings broadly available in the marketplace.
